Abstract

The luminescence emitted in the process of excitation at 90 K and the thermoluminescence NaCl:Ag, KCl:Ag, KCl:In, KCl:Tl, KBr:Tl and KI:Tl crystals via the energy of exciting photon in the fundamental absorption region is studied. The accumulation efficiency of stored energy increases with exciting photon energy. A method for the evaluation of the relative contribution of genetic pairs and randomly distributed Vk- and Aº-centres to the total number of these centres is suggested. The probability of {Vk–Aº} genetic pair formation decreases with increasing energy of exciting photon. The mechanisms responsible for an increase of the stored energy accumulation efficiency and genetic pair formation are discussed. [Russian Text Ignored].
