Lugar y no lugar: los espacios del miedo desde una perspectiva de género

Abstract

El tema principal del texto es analizar los conceptos de lugar y no-lugar que creó Marc Augé para referirse a “los espacios del anonimato” en el ámbito de las ciudades y localidades, relacionándolos con los espacios del miedo que hay en dichas zonas, desde una perspectiva del género femenino. Se pretende dar visibilidad al colectivo de las mujeres y reivindicar seguridad para ellas en los espacios del miedo de las localidades, promoviendo la protección de sus derechos como ciudadanas. Trabajar los lugares y no-lugares de las ciudades o localidades en las que habitamos nos permite entender el entorno y la sociedad con la que convivimos, pudiendo así, transformarla y cambiarla para un mejor aprovechamiento y uso de todos los espacios por todos los ciudadanos y ciudadanas. Desde esta perspectiva, se presenta un mapeo artístico de la localidad de Santisteban del Puerto; este, simboliza los espacios del miedo para algunas mujeres de la zona que han sido encuestadas previamente. The aim is to give visibility to the group of women and demand security for them in spaces of fear in localities, promoting the protection of their rights as citizens. Working on the places and non-places of the cities or towns in which we live allows us to understand the environment and the society with which we live, thus being able to transform and change it for better use and use of all spaces by all citizens and citizens. From this perspective, an artistic mapping of the town of Santisteban del Puerto is presented; This symbolizes spaces of fear for some women in the area who have been previously surveyed.
