Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemberitaan kasus korupsi dana Bansos Covid-19 dalam Kompas.com. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi dan teknik simak catat. Analisis data pemberitaan kasus korupsi dana Bansos Covid-19 dilakukan dengan menggunakan model Norman Fairclough. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa pemberitaan pada laman tersebut merepresentasikan wacana kekecewaan dan kemarahan berbagai elemen masyarakat. Dari segi mikrostruktural, verba, pronominal, konjungsi, dan modalitas digunakan untuk membangun kronologi dan latar peristiwa pada informasi-informasi yang telah dirilis. Dari segi makrostruktural, analisis praktik sosial budaya dan konteks sosial pada pemberitaan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa arah pemberitaan berfokus pada penyalahgunaan kekuasaan Menteri Sosial. Akan tetapi, secara tidak langsung, pemberitaan juga memberikan tekanan kepada pemerintah untuk menunjukkan integritasnya sebagai institusi yang seharusnya dipercaya oleh masyarakat. This study aims to describe the reporting of corruption cases of the Covid-19 social assistance in Kompas.com. This research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection methods used are documentation and note-taking techniques. Analysis of data on corruption news in the Covid-19 social assistance fund was carried out using the Norman Fairclough model. The results of data analysis show that the reports on the page represent the discourse of disappointment and anger from various elements of society. From a microstructural point of view, verbs, pronominals, conjunctions, and modalities are used to build a chronology and setting of events on the information that has been released, while from a macrostructural perspective, an analysis of socio-cultural practices and social context in the news shows that the direction of the news focuses on abuse the power of the Minister of Social Affairs. However, indirectly, the news also puts pressure on the government to show its integrity as an institution that requires the trust of the public.
