Abstract
Antibody titers against the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)-determined complement-fixing soluble (5) antigen were closely correlated with their titers against the EBVdetermined nuclear antigen (EBNA), as detected by anticomplement fluorescence. The two antigens seemed identical. The correlation between antibody titers to the 5 antigen or to EBNA, on the one hand, and to viral capsid antigen, on the other, was much poorer.
