Abstract
The purpose of this study is to design the core power controller for China Initiative Accelerator Driven System which only relies on the external neutron source to realize core power adjustment. Based on the state space model of CIADS core, a Linear Quadratic Gaussian controller with Loop Transfer Recovery (LQG/LTR) is adopted as the strong robustness. As the parameters of traditional LQG/LTR controller are selected by judging the singular value curve, it is difficult to achieve the optimum. To find the optimal parameters of the LQG/LTR controller, simulated annealing algorithm (SAA) is used. With the state space model of CIADS core, the core power control system is established by using the LQG/LTR controller with SAA. The core power step simulation and the external neutron source disturbance simulation are carried out. The results show that the control effect of LQG/LTR controller with SAA is better than that of traditional LQG/LTR controller.
