Abstract

The influence of staggered Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya (DM) interaction as well as external magnetic fields on transport properties of the spin-1/2 one-dimensional XY model with spatially modulated DM interaction which has been a complex topic in recent years is investigated. The longitudinal spin conductivity is calculated employing the fermionization approach, where we analyze the effect of the strength of DM interaction on continuum spin conductivity σreg(ω). In addition, the behavior of the Drude’s weight as a function of temperature T is presented, indicating a spin super-current behavior for all T.
