Abstract

Horn—type loudspeakers show characteristically low-frequency cut-off, depending on the aperture or mouth area. In the conical horn, the aperture area plays an important role whereas in the exponential horn types, the taper of the horn also plays an important role. How the low-frequency cut-off arises is briefly discussed in the paper.
