Abstract
Abstract Near-forward Raman scattering measurements have been made to determine the dispersion relations of low frequency phonon polaritons. The experimental results are given for BaTiO3, BNN, LiTaO3 and LiNbO3. The clamped dielectric constants and the propagation lengths are estimated.
