Abstract

During the Final Bronze Age, the daggers in the Iberian Peninsula had a tipological evolution within two parallel streams. One of them went towards daggers as those of the Venat hoard, and that is why it has been named so. The second one is defined by those daggers which are the subject of this paper, the Porto de Mos type. The daggers of the Final Bronze Age are an example of the cultural and technical hybridization that, in general, characterized the European Final Bronze Age, and, in particular, this phase in the Iberian Peninsula.
