Abstract
This paper deals with the study of the Machado’s manuscripts «El hombre que murio en la Guerra», which is still unpublished. In particular, we analyzethe contents of the play, the genesis of the work, the parts written byeach author, as well as the several tages of the drafting. Lastly, several unpublished drafts of the play are transcribed.
