Abstract

The use of loop diuretics in everyday clinical practice requires a rational approach to drug selection, taking into account the recommendations given in modern guidelines.
 With long-term use of loop diuretics, preference should be given to torasemide, as a safer drug with a possible additional positive effect on the pathogenesis of cardiovascular diseases
