(Abstracted from Am J Obstet Gynecol 2023;229(3):275.e1–275.e17) Symptomatic uterine fibroids (UFs) are benign tumors diagnosed in approximately 30% of American women by the age of 50 years. Symptomatic UFs can significantly affect quality of life (QoL) and have a wide range of symptoms and severity, including pelvic pressure, dyspareunia, sexual dysfunction, infertility, and abnormal uterine bleeding.
