Abstract

In today’s turbulent global society, a growing number of people are actively seeking the means to accomplish their well-being needs. They desire well-being through their states, in their roles as citizens and through their workplaces. Studies pertaining to prominent traditional philosophies could contribute to key insights about the necessity and benefits of creating responsible societies. This article is an exploration of the convergence of the principal dimensions of Lokasamgraha, a revered concept in the Hindu scripture, Bhagwad Gita and the Bhutanese government’s concept of Gross National Happiness. The article explores the understanding Lokasamgraha as a framework of workplace spirituality at an organizational level, and Gross National Happiness, at a national level.
