Abstract

As the COVID-19 disease spread rapidly many countries around the world have declared state of health emergency. Countries began to introduce restrictions and limitations, including closing boundaries and thus limiting the flow of goods and services. The main objective of the study is to check the impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic and the related limitations and restrictions on logistics in the enterprises in Poland. The article also aims to identify the likely development of individual departments of the company during the COVID-19 pandemic. The article stands out from other papers because the research sample and analysis consists of 212 entities and takes into account enterprises of all sizes: micro-enterprises, small enterprises, medium-sized enterprises and large enterprises. The results of the research show the diversified impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the logistics performance, depending on the size of the examined entity. The results also identify the strength of the impact of the pandemic on different enterprise departments, as well as which departments of the company are most affected by problems caused by the pandemic and those that have the greatest chance of growing / gaining value after the end of the COVID-19 pandemic.
