Abstract

In this paper, we have demonstrated by simulation that the transport of NIR optical images in a 10-cm-long all-solid tellurite optical fiber (wavelength of 1.55 µm) has a highly localized beam pattern by using a honeycomb structure with transversely pseudo-disordered fiber with random core sizes and fixed nearest-neighbor core-core center distance (core size between 1.0 and 1.4 µm and core-core center distance fixed at 3 µm). This paper shows the steps and different simulations used to obtain this structure with such a high beam localization.
