Abstract

87 eyes of 70 patients (mean age 75.03 years) with an average 12-months follow-up underwent ab-interno Xen45 gel stent with PoST technique. Primary outcome: mean IOP change. Secondary outcomes: change in medications and complications. Preoperative mean IOP and medications were 18.66 mmHg and 3.36 respectively. At 12 months, mean IOP and medications were 13.1 mmHg and 1.35. Cumulative proportion of success (IOP less than 22 mmHg, ≥ 20% reduction in baseline IOP and no additional surgical intervention) was 0.72. Needling proportion was 9%. Cumulative proportion of reoperation was 0.22. The PoST technique resulted in significant reduction in IOP and medications.
