Abstract

The quasi-two-dimensional conductors (PO 2) 4(WO 3) 2 m show charge density wave type electronic instabilities. The average number of conduction electrons per W atom is 2/ m, decreasing with m. We report resistivity and magnetoresistance measurements for the m=7 compound. The upturn of resistivity at low temperature and the field dependence of the magnetoresistance are discussed in terms of weak localization effects.
