Abstract
In traditional 3D image thinning methods, because the thinning data is not symmetrical, the skeleton connectivity of 3D image is reduced, and the thinned image is seriously distorted. Based on the symmetric decryption algorithm, this method acquires the symmetric information of 3-D stereo image, filters out the pseudo-feature points, extracts the local detail features of 3-D stereo image by detecting template, and realizes the local thinning of image by stereo matching. According to the test results, the skeleton of 3D stereo image obtained by the method of local thinning has the characteristics of connectedness and symmetry, while the skeleton of 3D stereo image obtained by the traditional method has the phenomena of fragmentation and asymmetry.
