Abstract
The development of the Arctic territories is one of the priority strategies of the Russian Federation. In this regard, there is a large number of questions in various areas that need to be discussed. The article deals with the problem of improving radio communication in the region. One of the problems related to the location of communication stations is formulated. Its mathematical model is constructed, approximation algorithms of its decision are proposed, the first results of numerical experiments are discussed.
