Abstract
The purpose of the article is to study the influence of local communities on the development of tourism in Ukraine during the recovery period after the COVID-19 epidemic, taking into account the territorial specificity and European experience. The methodological basis of this study is statistical, comparative, graphic, systematic methods of analysis, economic modeling based on statistical data of recent years, analysis and synthesis of optimal theoretical data, induction and deduction of collected information. Scientific novely. It was determined that the global pandemic of the COVID-19 coronavirus had a significant impact on the rethinking of the activities of local authorities and, in particular, on their impact on tourism. A significant feature of the study is that it is based on the activities of the Novosanzhar settlement territorial community, which in 2020 received citizens who arrived from China, the actual epicenter of the coronavirus. Conclusions. It is emphasized that the reforming of the authorities of local communities, which has been carried out in Ukraine since the moment of its European integration, provides an opportunity to expand their powers and implement them in a much wider range of issues, among which tourism occupies far from the last place. It is he, as a unique phenomenon of the end of the 20th – beginning of the 21st century, that actualizes the needs of society in its moral and ethical questions, on the one hand, and on the other – provides new opportunities for employment of citizens and raising the economic level. The results of determining the optimal ways of interaction of local communities and the functioning of tourism in its various manifestations, from local history forms to international business projects aimed at replenishing the budget and popularizing Ukraine in its tourism opportunities, are presented. The work developed recommendations for increasing the effectiveness of the interaction of local communities and their tourism component, in particular, the author’s vision of solving the problems existing in this process was formed and the elements of designing ways to improve the partnership of the authorities and subjects of tourism activity were presented.
