Abstract

This study tries to map the reach of local cable channels among the audience in Namakkal district of Tamilnadu in India. Local cable channels influence and impact on audience what they think about the programs. Moreover the study will explore the audience feedback over the local cable channels performance and quality of the program content, and their gratification on the local cable channels in the study area. In additional to that the study tries to find what the audiences expect from the local cable channels. Structured questioner for audience feedback and expectation in study area was used alongwith informal interview for local cable channels owner's to know what their perspective.
