Abstract

Making a preamble to Pop music, the film Little Miss Sunshine is analyzed, which addresses the problem of dysfunctional families, a typical North American case, within the Road Movie genre. The characters are described who revolve around the story of a seven-year-old girl who wants to achieve her dream. It shows how, through a comic story, a critique is made of a society in crisis but, at the same time, unconditional love is revealed as the strength to face adversity.
