Abstract

Objective To discuss the characteristics of drug-induced eye disorders.Methods 178 cases of drug-induced eye disorders in CNKI from 2000 to 2013 were retrospectively analyzed and the data of age,gender,primary diseases,the kinds and categories of drugs,clinical manifestation were investigated.Results Among the total 178 cases,the ratio of male (102 cases) and female (76 cases) was 1.34:1.00.Oral and intravenous administration were the main routes.There were 178 cases of drug-induced eye disorders caused by 112 kinds of drugs.54 cases were induced by anti-microbial agents (accounting for 30.34%).Conclusion The causative drugs were diverse.Related drugs should be monitored in clinical practice to avoid or decrease drug-induced eye disorders.
