Abstract

The article attempts to reveal the conformity of the fundamental creative principles of A. Kruchyonykh as well as his ideas concerning the essence and aims of artistic creativity, with the basic provisions of the concept of pure art. The features of the interpretation of the key concepts used by the supporters of "art for art's sake", their postulates in the theoretical-literary and literary-critical works of the poet are considered. It is pointed out that the nature of how A. Kruchyonykh interprets the ideas that are the main provisions of the concept of pure art is determined by avant-garde searches of the poet. The subordination of the theory of abstruse language declared by A. Kruchyonykh to the principles of pure art is revealed. The nature of the evolution in the post-revolutionary period of the poet's creativity of his views on the relationship between art and politics, works of art subordinated to the solution of non-aesthetic tasks is comprehended. The role of A. Kruchyonykh in the development of the ideas of pure art is revealed.
