Abstract

The results of studies of the fatty acid composition of phospholipids from bud meristems of the main coniferous edificators from Central Siberia, Larix sibirica Ledeb., Picea obovata L., and Pinus sylvestris L., in winter (in the state of low-temperature resistance) and in spring (after the lack of low-temperature resistance) are reported. The change in the phenological state of the tree upon the transition from dormancy to vegetation has been shown to be attended by a significant transformation of the fatty acid composition of phospholipids from living tissues, which is expressed not only in the alteration of the content of individual fatty acids and the ratio of the components of one or various types, but also in the absence of some fatty acids that are present in the winter buds.
