Abstract

The interest towards the phenomenon of literary text linguostylisticinterpreting arose in the 60-s of the former century. E Benveniste proposed hismodel of informative and stylistic language means interpreting moving fromphonological through morpheme and morphological to lexical and syntacticallevels. Later the tendency towards the complex literary text study prevailswhich enables us to see predefined, organized structure of a text to be studiedunlike random and occasional variety of language means as it was thoughtbefore. The subject of the linguostylistic analysis is language organization ofthe text that all reflect ideological and esthetic concept of the text. The main task of linguostylistic analysis of a literary text is languagemeans study of different levels in the system of some literary work in terms ofauthor concept’s correspondence with his individual manner of writing.Simultaneously, L. Novikov considers possible the analysis of any literarytext accounting for the linguistic, stylistic and literary planes of investigation.L. Babenko proposes such models of literary text analysis: linguocentric, textocentric, anthropocentric and cognitive. Summarizing, of all possiblemodels of the literary text analysis, one may establish such main approaches:functional-and-stylistic, structural-and-language, text and communicativewhere linguostylistic accounts for the first two generally and the second twopartially.Textforming categories act as specific instruments of the linguostylisticanalysis of a literary text. Among textforming categories one may rememberuniversal and nonuniversal. Universal categories include wholeness andcohesion. These fundamental categories form other correlated categories.Hence, linguostylistic study of a text is an analysis of specific unity ofcontent and form in their poetic wholeness. Linguostylistic analysis of a literarytext is a young scientific branch which is closely connected with suchdirections as text linguistics, hermeneutics, psycholinguistics, stylistics, pragmatics, communication theory etc. and is interlinked with such sciences aslinguistics, literary study, theory of literature, literary critics, theory andpractice of translation, esthetics
