Abstract

This study introduces the basic principle of anisotropic magnetoresistive sensors and proposes a high-precision displacement sensor based on the anisotropic magnetoresistive effect. The sensor consists of an anisotropic magnetoresistive probe, an analog-to-digital converter, and a microcontroller. The relationship between the output voltage and the displacement of the magnetoresistive chip is analyzed, and a linear input and output fitting algorithm is obtained. The experimental results show that the error of the displacement sensor is less than 0.6% and the linearity is better than 0.3%, which meet the requirements of practical applications.
