Limites e possibilidades das novas tecnologias no ambiente escolar, um olhar para as barreiras estruturais nas salas de aulas e laboratórios

Abstract

O trabalho em questão surgiu da necessidade de discutir o problema relacionado às barreiras estruturais nas salas de aula e laboratórios das instituições de ensino para implantação e utilização das TICs. Sendo assim, o trabalho tem como objetivo analisar os limites e as possibilidades das novas tecnologias no ambiente escolar, especificamente em sala de aula ou laboratórios, elencando as barreiras estruturais no que concerne à utilização das TCIs, contidas nas instituições de ensino. A principal pergunta é: As instituições de ensino estão preparadas, estruturalmente, para execução de aula em rede dentro de uma sala de aula e/ou laboratórios? Para tanto, utilizou-se a revisão bibliográfica, através de uma pesquisa qualitativa com observações empíricas sobre o tema em questão. Selecionou-se dois campi de duas Universidades voltadas para licenciatura, uma no interior de São Paulo e outra no interior de Goiás. Concluiu-se que as barreiras estruturais representam um desafio a ser rompido pelos campi analisados. No entanto, representam também apenas uma pequena parte dos problemas de implantação e utilização das TIC nas instituições de ensino. Chegou se, através da pesquisa, a outros problemas, tais como: falta de confiança, resistência à mudança e atitudes negativas e falta de percepção de benefícios, falta de acesso a recursos, falta de tempo, falta de treinamento eficaz e problemas técnicos, os quais necessitam de políticas públicas adequadas para a superação.Palavras-chaves: TIC. Therefore, the objective of this work is to analyze the limits and possibilities of new technologies in the school environment, specifically in the classroom or laboratories, and to identify structural barriers in the use of ICTs contained in educational institutions. For this, the bibliographic review was used, through a qualitative research with empirical observations on the subject in question. Two campuses of two universities were selected for undergraduate degree, one in the interior of São Paulo and another in the interior of Goiás. It is concluded that structural barriers represent a challenge to be broken by the analyzed campuses; however, it represents only a small part of the problems of ICT implantation and use in educational institutions. Other problems, such as: lack of confidence, resistance to change and negative attitudes and lack of perception of benefits, lack of access to resources, lack of time, lack of effective training and technical problems, have arisen.Keywords: ICT.
