Research Article| February 01 2019 Like a Shipwreck Erica Berry Erica Berry Erica Berry is a 2018 creative nonfiction graduate of the University of Minnesota’s MFA program. Her essays can be found or are forthcoming in the New York Times Magazine, Literary Hub, Colorado Review, Guernica, The Atlantic, and others. She is also the recent recipient of a Minnesota State Arts Board Grant, an AWP Intro Journals Prize, the Kurt Brown Prize in Creative Nonfiction, the Southeast Review’s Narrative Nonfiction Prize, and a scholarship from the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference.
