Abstract

The light response of the fast liquid scintillator NE 232 to electrons and deuterons has been measured in the energy range 0.16 to 4.2 MeV and 0.7 to 10 MeV, respectively. The pulse shape discrimination properties NE 232 are compared with those of NE 213 and NE 230. The zero-crossing method has been applied for that purpose.
