Abstract

Industri elektro plating menghasilkan limbah saat beroperasi, diantaranya berupa limbah cair asam atau basah. Pengolahan limbah yang tidak benar akan menimbulkan masalah yang sangat serius bagi lingkungan. Sesuai dengan pasal 1 ayat 7 UU RI tahun 1997 Pencemaran lingkungan adalah masuknya atau dimasukkannya makhluk hidup, zat, energi, atau komponen lain ke dalam lingkungan dan atau berubahnya tatanan lingkungan oleh kegiatan manusia atau oleh proses alam, sehingga kualitas lingkungan turun sampai tingkat tertentu yang menyebabkan lingkungan menjadi kurang atau tidak berfungsi lagi sesuai peruntukannya. Proses pembacaan kadar cairan limbah asam atau basah dengan memanfaatkan sensor LDR (Light Drop Resistor). Nilai resistansi sensor LDR akan berubah berbanding lurus dengan kondisi keasaman ato tingkat kebasahan, nilai inilah yang akan menjadi dasar untuk diolah diproses kontrol selanjutnya. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan memasang seri sensor LDR dengan sebuah resistansi dan didapat hasil senagai berikut, bahwa air limbah yang sangat keruh, gelap, penyaringan pertama, penyaringan kedua dan jernih, masing-masing kondisi tersebut mengeluarkan tegangan 4,4volt, 3,45volt, 3,10volt, 2,6volt, 0,2volt Kata Kunci — Elektro plating, limbah cair, light drop resistor, sensor, asam, jernihAbstract - The electro plating industry produces waste when operating, including acid or wet liquid waste. In accordance with article 1 paragraph 7 of the RI Law of 1997, environmental pollution is the entry or inclusion of living things, substances, energy, or other components into the environment and or changes in the environmental order by human activities or by natural processes, so that the quality of the environment decreases to a certain level which cause the environment to become less or no longer function according to its designation. The process of reading acid or wet waste liquid levels by utilizing an LDR (Light Drop Resistor) sensor. The resistance value of the LDR sensor will change directly proportional to the conditions of acidity or level of wetness, this value will be the basis for further control processing.
