Abstract
Lifetimes of 8 levels in73Se have been measured by the recoil distance Doppler shift technique via the reaction60Ni(16O, 2pn)73Se. Energies of negative and positive parity states as well asE 2 transition strengths are compared with theoretical values obtained from a symmetric rotor plus particle model and a triaxial rotor model.
