Abstract
Ethelwynn produced more than 120 books, monographs, scientific papers and popular articles from 1922 until the publication of this bibliography. She was the sole or first author of an incredible 95 % of those publications. She co-authored publications with some of the foremost investigators in her field, e.g. J. Daget, G. Fryer, P.H. Greenwood, L. Fishelson, C.T. Regan and D. Thys van den Audenaerde. Most of her publications were in English, but some of her more recent ones were in French and her writings on cichlid fish taxonomy were translated into other languages, especially German. Ethelwynn certainly authored and co-authored more publications than are listed here. I included only those publications I could verify personally, but I know a number of less readily available monographs, museum publications and accounts on fish families for encyclopaedias were certainly produced. For example, she was Zoological Recorder from 1939 to 1945 for Recent Fishes. Her publications are listed in chronological sequence over years, but not necessarily within a given year.
