Abstract
At 25.5°±1.7°C, about 50% RH, and with 14 hr light per day, the average durations of the life stages of Geocoris punctipes (Say) were: egg, 9.9 days, both sexes; total nymphal, ♂26.8, ♀27.7 days; adults, ♂41.5, ♀67.7 days. Females averaged 5.2 days preoviposition and 30.8 egg-laying days, and produced 177.7 eggs per female (maximum 469) at an average rate of 5.5 eggs per clay.
