Abstract

The paper presents the concept of the product life cycle for digital technology enterprises. We have considered the classical concept of the product life cycle, identifying its drawbacks in digital technology enterprises, using it as a basis for constructing a new concept of the life cycle, encompassing the creation, organization, digitalization and scaling of products. We classifying the existing methods and approaches and focusing on the relationship between the proposed product life cycle and technology life cycle. We have formulated the concept of the life cycle, which allows building a digital value chain focused on meeting the current and future needs of the customers with minimum time spent on production and an option for rapid scaling. The results of the study may serve as a theoretical basis for building an integrated management system controlling the development of existing products and production of new ones in digital technology enterprises
