Abstract
Many phenomena in engineering and physics can be described by nonlinear partial differential equations. In this paper, a class of new KdV-Burgers-Kuramoto type equation is proposed. Lie symmetry analysis is performed on the equation and its travelling wave solutions equation. The exact solutions are obtained by using the power series method. The result of Lie symmetry analysis reveals that the travelling wave solutions equation accepts no global analytical non-trivial Lie symmetry, which implies the dynamical complexity of the travelling wave solutions equation. An exact solution of the class of new KdV-Burgers-Kuramoto type equation is also obtained based on balance principle.
