Abstract

Lichen myxedematosus is a rare disease that is characterized by the formation of lichenoid papules and plaques. Histologic examination shows deposition of mucinous material in the dermis. We report the case of a patient with cutaneous and systemic involvement and examine the clinical and postmortem data. (J Am Acad Dermatol 2001;45:606-8.)
