Abstract

The decay properties of 14 min 101Tc have been investigated by the use of Ge(Li) and NaI(TI) γ-ray and anthracene β-ray detectors. Coincidence relationships between the γ-rays were determined with the aid of a multiparameter analyzer. Numerous γ-rays (33) could be identified. Two strong β-groups with end-point energies of 1.32 and 1.07 MeV were shown to be in coincidence with 306.7 and 544.7 keV γ-rays, respectively. A decay scheme consistent with the coincidence data is presented, with levels at 127.1, 306.7, 311.2, 422.4, 544.7, 616.1, 720.0, 842.6, 911.1, 928.2 and 918.1 keV. Spin assignments for the excited levels in 101Ru are proposed.
