Abstract

We were interested to read the paper by Dr. G. B. Young in your November issue (1974) in which he summarized the dose given per exposure for several film-screen combinations in mammography. Since evaluating xeroradiography as a mammographic technique (Evans et al., 1975) we have been investigating the changes of image quality as the dose decreases using some of the same materials as Young and also the rare-earth screens recently introduced.
