Abstract

The subject of the study was a fragment of the professional biography of one of the representatives of the noble Svyatopolk-Mirsky family, the Catholic priest Lev Svyatopolk-Mirsky (Fr. Eugene). On the basis of archival sources introduced into scientific circulation for the first time, the socio-cultural features of the multinational and multi-confessional Siberian community are analyzed. The method of content analysis of archival materials made it possible to reveal the subtleties of the state-confessional policy of Russia during the imperial period.
