Abstract

This study presents a localization algorithm for moving the receiver based on LEO satellite downlink Doppler signals. This algorithm could provide an alternative to pseudo-range based GNSS. Considering the asynchrony between satellites and the existence of a relative clock skew, we used sequential measurements at multiple receiving moments to obtain a sufficient number of observations. And we performed motion offset compensation for the receiver position and velocity at different moments. Simulation results show that the algorithm can achieve good localization accuracy.
