Abstract

Review of European Community & International Environmental LawVolume 4, Issue 1 p. 22-32 Legal Gateways for Environmental Protection in China Dr Hong Mei, Dr Hong Mei Dr Hong Mei received her LL.B. from the South-Central University of Finance and Economics in Wuhan, P.R.C. She went on to receive an LL.M. from the South-Central Institute of Politics and Law, Wuhan, and a PhD from King's College, London. She has worked as an Assistant Judge in the City Intermediate People's Court of Wuhan. Dr Mei is currently a visiting lecturer in the Law Department at the School for Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), London University, and is also involved with a project funded by the Economic and Social Research Council, โ€˜Access to Environmental Justice in Africa and Asiaโ€™.
