Abstract
LEFT ATRIAL (LA) dissection is a severe but rare complication of cardiac surgery, occurring in up to 0.84% of mitral valve replacements. 1 Gallego P. Oliver J.M. González A. et al. This complication was identified by intraoperative transesophageal echocardiography (TEE).
