Abstract
The typification of the name Dracunculus vulgaris (≡ Arum dracunculus) (Araceae) is discussed. The designation of the corresponding type is based on the consultation of the Linnaeus’s original material and the literature cited in the respective protologue. A specimen preserved in the Adriaan van Royen herbarium at L (Leiden) is designated as the lectotype.
