Abstract

A new synthesis method in the design of CMOS log-domain nth-order filter is proposed that features the leap-frog topology. By utilizing improved integrators with damping, the conventional DC ambiguity problem is removed. The realization of a 4-th order Chebyshev filter is discussed. Spectre simulation results show that the proposed technique has low sensitivity.
