Abstract
SUMMARYFollowing a first report on Salsola kali L. (see PATRIGNANI et al. 1993), the investigations on the genus Salsola were extended to the species Salsola soda L. Also for this species carbon isotope discrimination was measured and leaf morphology was described on the ground of light and electron microscopic observations. Aspects related to the C4 photosynthesis were discussed.
