Abstract
Following the works which emphasize the correlation between Paradoxical Sleep rate and Mental Deficiency, this work aims at describing the peculiarities of mental deficients paradoxical sleep. The observed correlation between the percentage of paradoxical sleep and lQis .85 (P of Spearman). In addition, one observes a protraction of the latency of the first paradoxical sleep stage and an increase of both number and duration of Intermediate sleep stage.
