Abstract
The aim of this paper is to show the emergence of a great innovation in international production of hight technologies : the merge of Electronic Manufacturing Services and of great Contract Manufacturers during 1980 and 1990. In this global industry, the externalization of the production by Majors result in a delocalization of production from North America and West Europe to East Europe and Asia.
