Abstract
Centottanta anni fa, il 7 maggio 1838, veniva accolta dall’autorità municipale di Milano la donazione delle collezioni di Giuseppe De Cristoforis e Giorgio Jan che comprendevano minerali, fossili, campioni di zoologia e botanica, oltre a strumenti e libri. Era nato il Museo di Storia Naturale di Milano, ieri come oggi, il museo dei milanesi.
