Abstract

The limestones located near the Beni Bahdel dam gives an abundant fauna of ammonites allowing the recognition of the levels of passage from Aalenian to Bajocian and the Discites, Sauzei and Humphriesianum zones. This fauna, full of stephanoceratidae is described. Two new species are proposed.
